El Fant is a specialty café in the heart of Helsinki, listed among Finland’s top 30 cafés. We serve high-quality hand-brewed coffee sourced from Finland and around the world, featuring freshly roasted beans carefully selected and curated by our baristas. Our daily lunch includes salads, pastas, and sourdough toasts, and many say we make the best carrot cake in town, along with other delightful house-made desserts. You can also take home our curated selection of freshly roasted coffee beans. Beyond coffee and food, El Fant is a welcoming space where music, art, and community come together.

Christmas at El Fant

Winter in Helsinki is cold outside, warm inside El Fant. For the season we have a small line of Christmas treats, all made in our kitchen or carefully selected by our team.

  • Warm, spiced and made in our kitchen. A simple winter drink for cold Helsinki days.

  • Finnish-style rice porridge served with dried fruits and our miso almonds. Vegan option available.

  • Our in-house blend for cooking riisipuuro at home. Smooth, comforting and easy to make.

  • Toasted almond flakes with a light miso glaze. Good with porridge, granola or yogurt.

  • A soft, bright apricot jam made in our kitchen. Perfect with riisipuuro or on toast.

  • Lightly sweet, nut-free and vegan granola baked in our kitchen. Crisp and very snackable.

  • Soft, fragrant gingerbread with winter spices and white chocolate.

  • Freshly roasted coffee beans curated by our baristas from Finland and around the world.

El Fant has created its first espresso blend, brought to life together with Inka Paahtimo in Helsinki. Washed coffees from Peru and Costa Rica. Medium dark, smooth, lightly chocolatey. 100% Arabica. Balanced and warm, the way we like it.
