Trio Virtanen/Šketa/Von Numers performs lesser-known pieces from the Great American Songbook alongside selected classics by great jazz composers of the 1950s and 1960s. Featuring Olli Virtanen on vibraphone, Vid Šketa on trumpet, and Filemon Von Numers on double bass, the trio offers swinging takes on timeless jazz repertoire.

The Musicians:

Olli Virtanen – VibraphoneA , Helsinki-based vibraphonist with a strong sense of harmony and rhythm. His playing is influenced by jazz legends like Wayne Shorter and Herbie Hancock, bringing subtle textures and dynamic interplay to the trio’s sound.

Vid Šketa – Trumpet, Originally from Slovenia, Vid’s trumpet style is marked by clarity and warmth. His phrasing is both precise and expressive, blending traditional jazz influences with his own modern sensibilities.

Filemon Von Numers – Double Bass, Providing the foundation of the trio, Filemon’s double bass playing is solid yet flexible, giving the music a strong pulse while allowing room for improvisation. His approach balances tradition with a personal touch.

Our venue has three sections: Room A, Room B, and Room C. Room A offers the best view of the performance, while views in Room B and Room C may be slightly limited.
